My name is Rebekah JaeAnne. I am 10 years old and will be in the 4th grade in the fall.  I got my name from the biblical spelling of Rebekah.  My middle name is made up of two very special people in my life--my grandma and my mimi (both of my grandmas). My mommy took my grandmas middle name and 1/2 of my mimis name and came up with JaeAnne.

I was born at Medical City Dallas Hospital on June 16, 1994.  I was born at 39 weeks gestation.  Mommy says I was the easiest pregnancy and delivery she's had.  Mommy told me that I was a planned C-Section because I was laying sideways in her tummy. My mommy has a Bi-Cornate uterus (which means it is heart shaped) She tells me that all of her children were grown inside a big heart of love! I weighed 6 pounds 1 ounce and was 20 inches long. I'm the biggest baby my mommy has had!

 I love to play soccer, and hang out with my friends, Allie, Lauren and Sarah. I love to listen to the radio and shop for clothes, shoes and jewelry!! I also love to swim, ride my bike, draw, write stories and read.  I was diagnosed last year with dyslexia.I attend classes every day at school.  My parents think it’s wonderful that even with my disability, I still have a strong passion for reading and writing.  I may not always spell the words right, but everyone who reads my stories says they are very interesting. I write about a lot of stuff, but mostly what happens in my life.

I’m in 4th grade now and I love it.  I’ve stayed on the A/B honor roll so far, and I love my teacher sooooo much!!  Our soccer team did great this year!! We got 2nd place!!! I was put on a new team because the team I had been with since I was 6 didn’t come back.  I was sad, but I love our new team, and the coaches!  I’ll be playing indoor soccer early next year before our outdoor season starts.
