My name is Michael Andrew Peterson. I am 8 1/2 years old. My mommy and daddy named me Michael because mommy has always wanted a son with this name. My grandpa and great uncle also have this name. My middle name is after my great-grandfather Edward Andrew. I am truly a blessing to my family in many ways. I was conceived the week my mommy's grandfather died, and I was born the week my daddy's grandfather died. Mommy says I was sent here to watch over my family and take care of them. I had a rough start, but all of that is behind me now, and I'm ready to conquer the world!

Some of my favorite things to do are playing with Lego's, and my Hot Wheels, watching Fairly Odd Parents, Spy Kids movies, and most of all--- playing Crash Bandicoot on our Sony Playstation. I also like playing on the computer and going over to my best friend’s Paul, Logan and Ryan house.
I’m in 3rd grade now and I really like my new teacher. It’s a lot harder than 2nd grade was, but I’m doing pretty good. I was told I had dyslexia earlier this year, and I am learning how to cope with it. Since my sister also has it, I am learning that once I get these strategies down, it will be a lot easier and my grades will improve.
