My name is Kristin Michele Peterson. I am 12 years old and am in the 7th grade. I was named after a little girl that my mommy used to take care of when she worked at a day care center. My mommy fell in love with that little girl and vowed to name her first born daughter, Kristin. My middle name came from one of mommy's best friends since elementary school.
I was born at Medical City Dallas Hospital in Dallas, TX on July 7th, 1992. Mommy and Daddy were returning from a 4th of July weekend in Greenville TX. Mommy's doctor said mommy overdid it during the holidays which caused her already high blood pressure to skyrocket. When she came to the doctors for a checkup, she was diagnosed with Pregnancy Induced Hypertension, or Pre-Eclampsia and was told I would be born C-Section so as not to cause any more complications. During the surgery, my mommy's doctor found out that she had a bi-cornate uterus. He told my mommy that all of her children would be small and they would probably all be laying sideways in her tummy (like I was). I weighed 5 pounds 6 ounces and was 18 inches long. I was at 38 weeks gestation.
Our school year is almost 1/2 over! Next year our class will rule the school! I’ve been on the A/B honor roll all year so far, and 7th grade is so much easier than 6th grade was. Our soccer team did really well this season! We placed 3rd in our division and when we played our rivals to see who would represent our city in the Tournament of Champions, WE WON!!! We’ll start the tournament in early December. Stay tuned!
